SA School Sport
Students in Reception – year 6 are able to participate in a variety of out of hours school sports throughout the year.
Registrations for out of hours sports teams are communicated each term via Audiri, including requests for volunteer assistance to help with coaching and managing roles. Further information can be found in the Out of Hours Sports Policy under policies.
The school offers the following sports:
Basketball
Offered Semester 1 (term 1 and 2) and Semester 2 (term 3 and 4)
Game times will be between 3.50pm – 5.50pm at either St Clair or Titanium
Yr 2/3 Mondays
Yr3/4 Tuesday
Rec/Yr1 Wednesday
Cost will be between $110 -$120 for a semester
Uniform – HBPS Singlet purchased from Hughes and Loveday and own blue shorts
Basketball singlets can be ordered online at www.hlsports.com.au
Please check with the manager on your singlet number prior to ordering.
Netball
Offered Semester 1 (term 1 and 2) and Semester 2 (term 3 and 4)
Games are at St Clair, and between 3.50pm – 5.50pm
Yr 2/3 Wednesdays
Yr3/4 and Yr 5/6 Thursdays.
Cost will be between $80 to $100 for the semester
Uniform – HBPS sports t-shirt supplied and own school blue shorts/skirt.
Cricket
The season runs during Term 1 and 4
The competition will be held either Friday evening time TBC or Saturday mornings 8.30am at Port Adelaide Reserve, Woodville South and Flinders Park Oval.
Cost will be between $40-$60 for the semester (term 1 and 2)
Uniform – school shirt and own white long pants
AFL
The season runs during Term 2 and 3.
Games are played on Saturday mornings at West Beach Ovals on Tapleys Hill Road.
Cost will be between $100-$120 for the season (depending on player numbers).
Uniform – AFL top provided own blue shorts footy boots.
Auskick
Auskick is also offered to junior primary students during the year and will be communicated by Audiri.
Soccer
The season runs during Term 2 and Term 3.
Games are at Jubliee Reserve West Lakes and St Clair Oval on Saturdays.
Cost will be between $60 to $70 for the season (depending on player numbers).
Uniform – soccer shirt provided own blue shorts and soccer shoes.
